anyone have a link to this vid? :Finally I got it on tape from a a friend of mine. :I will try to describe a little bit of the video: :Everything is in Japanese but it didnt matter for me. Also :the quality is not that great and there were no cameras mounted around the car. The camera man was trying to do its best anyway. (You know...Year 1991) :It seems that during that time (1991) the only car they were modifiyng was the Z. Thats why there were few Z's on that video trying to make a record. :The video starts by showing the crue setting up the car for the run. First attempt they manage to go up to 239mph :Then as far as I remember there was another Z that broke that record 240+mph. Then, the JUN-BLITZ Z had one more go after few more settings they manage to make a new record. But that wasnt enough and they wanted to have another go :And Finally...Camera man shows the crue doing some modifications on the turbos trying to make a new record. :And finally they show the car taking off slowly. RPMS starts very slow 1K,2K,3K,4K,5K and then baaaam shoots to the rev limiter. Then it shows the Boost Gauge going up to 1.5 bar while changing gears and when the car was at final gear camera shows the Boost Gauge fixed steady at 3bar. My friend told me that it was 3Bar and couldnt believe it until I saw it. :Koyama and all they other guys working on the team looked so happy when they realized that the car did 260MPH Top speed. :As you all know this record is still unbreakable. :Did you ever wonder if there is any car that can break that record today? I do.....The 300ZX can. With all this aftermarket parts available today and with the tuning process beeing more advanced by 13 years more I dont see any reason why another 300ZX cannot break that record. :I wish I could post it here but i cannot since its on a video tape. But I will try and see what I can do. :Going to sleep with a smile on my face that I own a LEGEND.
